Itaewon Class Season 2 is the second season of Itaewon Class. It’s been a difficult year, but it has also been the year in which we’ve all witnessed the drama wave as K-Dramas have aired on international airwaves and Netflix has never missed an opportunity to push us further into this entertainment era.
Itaewon class was one of the most popular soap operas. Itaewon Class is a television series that aired in 2020. It stars Park Seo-Joon, Kim Da-mi, Yoo Jae-Myung, and Kwon Nara. The series is based on the same-titled webcomic and was recognized for its intriguing characters, receiving the Asian Television Awards’ Best Drama Series in 2016.
Recap of Season 1
Park Sae-Ro-Yi is a high school girl who works in her family’s barbershop. She lives in the midst of Seoul and has many brothers, who make it difficult for her to express herself. Her best friend becomes a famous criminal lawyer, while she strives to assist him in his cases.
The net version of this Jang Geun-won (Ahn Bo-Hyun), the son of Jangga Group’s founder, Jang Dae-hee (Yoo Jae-Myung), kills Park Sae-Ro-Yi’s father, but since they’re from a prominent family, they’re let off with a warning. Park Sae-Ro-Yi becomes enraged when she learns that Jang Geun-won is attempting to make peace with the Japanese. She assaults him but ironically ends up in jail.
After his release, he returns home to establish a bar in opposition to the Jangga Group and atone for his father. The honeymoon is over for the guy, who unknowingly becomes involved in a romantic triangle.
When he is imprisoned, his lover takes on a scholarship and begins working for his rival firm as the Strategic Planning Head of Jangga Group. He begins his own company soon after with the help of his friend Jo Yi-Seo, who manages his funds.
The show has used certain major themes, such as identity and faith, to great effect. It’s Okay To Not Be Okay & Crash Landing On You is a K-drama that has significantly toyed with these issues while also providing excellent life lessons. The Itaewon Class finale episode obtained a 16.548 percent national audience share, making it the third-largest audience rating in Korean cable television history.
The conclusion was excellent, as Park Yi Seo and Park Saeroyi were happily together, with Park Saeroyi assuming control of the Jang Ga business.
However, our expectations for Itaewon Class Season 2 have been renewed as Park Bogum makes a cameo appearance at the end when he applies for the position of a chef at Soo Ah’s cafe. The ending of Itaewon Class Season 2 has caused considerable debate.

Is There Going To Be A Second Itaewon Class Season?
There has been no official news of a second season of the Itaewon Class, but due to its enormous popularity, there’s always a chance for another season in the late months of 2022.
Park Seo Joon is currently busy with a hectic schedule, as we all know he has been scouted for Marvel’s next series and will appear in the cast of Captain Marvel Part 2, alongside Brie Larson, Iman Vellani, and Teyonah Parris.
It is uncertain what his position will be. With the same actors reprising their roles in Itaewon Class Season 2, Park Bogum will join the cast as a love interest for Kwon Nara. The cast members Park Soo Joon and Yoo Jae-Myung previously starred in the kdrama Hwarang, so it’s safe to assume another reunion is on the way.
When Is Itaewon Class Season 2 Scheduled To Premiere?
There has been no official word on the dates, but if the JTBC production is ready, we may anticipate an announcement or a teaser by 2022.
In the case of The Returned, JTBC would begin production and Netflix would handle marketing as one of the films available on the worldwide streaming service.
