Halsey takes a step forward to normalize breastfeeding; Unveils her new album!

Halsey announced her upcoming album release date and posted the album cover, If I can’t Have Love, I want Power” which will be out on August 27. She uncovered the magnificent album cover poster at The Met Fifth Avenue In New York City.

She looked like an absolute goddess while guiding the tour of her album cover art with a deep low neckline silver sequin top, with a brown robe wrapper around covering her head. Topped that with black eyeshadow, accessorized with gold clips in hair and diamond earrings. Also, she did the tour barefoot.

She posted the picture with her naked breast that symbolizes the end of social stigma around the bodies and captioned the picture, “This album is a concept album about the joys and horrors of pregnancy and childbirth,” she wrote in an Instagram post. “It was very important to me that the cover art conveyed the sentiment of my journey over the past few months. The dichotomy of the Madonna and the Whore. The idea that me as a sexual being and my body as a vessel and gift to my child are two concepts that can co-exist peacefully and powerfully. My body has belonged to the world in many different ways the past few years, and this image is my means of reclaiming my autonomy and establishing my pride and strength as a life force for my human being.

“She further added, “This cover image celebrates pregnant and postpartum bodies as something beautiful, to be admired. We have a long way to go with eradicating the social stigma around bodies & breastfeeding. I hope this can be a step in the right direction!”

Since the last album she has participated in singles with country singer Kelsea Ballerini (“The Other Girl”), Mashmello (“Be Kind”), and Juice WRLD (“Life’s a Mess”). Her last album was “Maniac”

We are here to celebrate this bold move by Halsey, that sends a clear message about the stereotypical thinking people have against the natural practice of breastfeeding.
