Dating and Relationships

Steve Burton and his estranged wife, Sheree Burton, have chosen to divorce after more than 20 years of marriage.

According to a representative for the Days of Our Lives: Beyond Salem actor, 52-year-old Steve, who was featured in People, filed for divorce on Monday.

Burton claimed in the document that they split up due to “irreconcilable issues” in a letter that was delivered on July 8 to the Superior Court of California for the County of Orange. It was stated that they would split up on March 1, 2022.

Two months after Steve told his audience that he and his 47-year-old pregnant fitness pro wife had broken up, the lawsuit was filed.

The actor and Sheree married in 1999 after becoming friends while working together on the General Hospital set. The couple also has daughters Makena, 18, and Brooklyn, 7, in addition to their 16-year-old son Jack.

On both legal and practical grounds, the “Days of Our Lives: Beyond Salem” actor is asking for shared custody of their two youngest kids, Brooklyn, 7, and Jack, 16. Also, he wants Gustin, with whom he has a daughter named Makena who is 18 years old, to stop getting payments for spousal support.

Steve Burton Says He’s Separated From Pregnant Wife, Child ‘is not Mine’

The soap opera actor said that he desired a divorce two months after claiming that Gustin was expecting another man’s child.

In a May Instagram story, the former General Hospital star said, “

“I wanted to clear something up. Sheree and I are separated. She recently announced that she’s expecting her fourth child.

“The child is not mine,” he added. “We are still co-parenting our three beautiful kids.” We would prefer some privacy at this time. Thank you, Steve. “

Steve Burton is moving forward with his divorce from Sheree Gustin.

Gustin is still silent about the accusations. Steve’s announcement comes nearly six months after he was fired from General Hospital for failing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine as required by the show.

The General Hospital vaccination requirement, which was in effect at the time of his departure and applied to all crew members present on set when the actors weren’t wearing masks, had been in effect since Nov. 1 at that point.

Days of Our Lives: Beyond Salem, a Days of Our Lives spinoff from Peacock, is in its second season, and Steve is a character there. He is playing Harris Michaels again, a role he first had in 1988 on the show Days of Our Lives.
