Classroom of the Elite Season 3 is slated to premiere in 2023, and while no specific release date has been announced yet, fans can expect to return in April with the spring roster or, more realistically, in 2023. We can expect them to return in the summer roster in July.

During the aforementioned livestream by the COTE cast, it was announced that “the anime will adapt the entire freshman arc of the original story.” A total of 11.5 volumes of Shogo Kinugasa’s light novel “Year 1″ series were released from May 2015 to September 2019.
Given that the anime has adapted seven of these full volumes, it’s a reasonable assumption that season 3 will be the final season of Classroom of the Elite`s Year 1.
However, there is a sequel focusing on the same group of characters in Year Two. A total of 7 volumes of this light novel series will be released from January 2020 to June 2022. So, now that Season 3 of Classroom of the Elite is over, it’s very likely that the sequel series will get the green light if the anime continues to prove popular enough to warrant a sequel. A sequel can actually add to the original series. So, instead of creating an Elite 2 classroom, we can watch the sequel produced in seasons 4 and 5 of the main anime his series. In either scenario, anime Classroom of the Elite fans can look forward to more content to come.

Not much about the Classroom of the Elite season 3 plot has been revealed yet but it is safe to assume that the show will pick up from where it left off.
The new season is going to use the 8th volume as a source of inspiration for its content and that means the show is going to revolve around the main characters in their third semester at the Tokyo Metropolitan High School for Advanced Education.
