Season 2, which will likely consist of 12 episodes like most anime seasons, will be a continuation of Season 1 and Tatsuki Fujimoto’s manga of the same name. Our warriors continue hunting for the Gun Devil, and Special Division 4 has only just begun, with a plethora of demon foes to be developed.

Season 2 should cover the remaining 97 chapters of Part 1 of the manga. Season 1 of the anime has covered around 40 chapters of the manga. Therefore Season 2 may cover the remaining 57 chapters or so.

Himeno might not return unless season two flashbacks bring her back. If so, Mariya Ise and Katelyn Barr will presumably reprise their roles in the original Japanese version and the English dub.
