‘Bridgerton’ fame Regé-Jean Page to star in ‘The Saint’ reboot

Seems like a great news for all Simon Basset fans and the man himself!

The popular romance series ‘Bridgerton’s lead actor, who is well known for playing Simon Basset has landed himself a huge role this time, all thanks to his previous breakthrough character!

Regé-Jean Page is officially out from the second season of ‘Bridgerton’, however he has been roped in for ‘Dungeons & Dragons’ movie and the Russo brothers’ upcoming Netflix venture ‘The Gray Man’.

Recently, the actor has bagged himself yet another huge role in the popular series ‘The Saint’ remake, and is all set to play the character of Simon Templar.

‘The Saint’ was the most loved British spy series, when it first aired on television in 1962, giving birth to the fresh fame of James Bond and Dr. No, along with actor Roger Moore who featured as the lead character.

However, Daniel Craig is no longer the James Bond who we know, as he has stepped down from the iconic role.

A few actors have been in talks to get roped in as his substitute, some of them include Idris Elba, Gillian Anderson, Richard Madden and Jean Page, who is the latest choice for the role.

‘The Saint’ reboot has not yet decided on it’s release date, however production plans have begun and we can’t wait for the series to begin rolling already!
