Who would have thought the sitcom that popularized the term “cranking” would still be on the air after 11 seasons?
But, in all honesty, that’s a matter of some discussion. The first half of Season 10—Red Tide—was excellent, but the second half—Death Valley—fell flat with the sort of narrative you’d see in American Horror Stories, Ryan Murphy’s hit-or-miss offshoot.
It’s still too soon to write off American Horror Story. FX renewed Murphy’s flagship program for an additional three seasons in January 2020, guaranteeing at least 13 more episodes.
After American Horror Story’s unprecedented run of success as FX’s highest-rated series for over a decade, network chief John Landgraf proclaimed, “Ryan and Brad [Fulchuk] are the uncontested kings of horror TV.”
However, where does this spectacular freak show go from here? Will the 11th season of American Horror Story return to the show’s roots or see further structural changes from the creators?
Is there the possibility of yet another crossover event occurring? Jessica Lange’s come back to film in one of her greatest performances would benefit humanity, and Lord Satan is well aware of this.
The eleventh season of American Horror Story has been revealed.

American Horror Story Season 11 Release Date
Sorry, horror aficionados, but at this time there is no confirmed date for the release of American Horror Story Season 11. But worry not, for we have a good idea of when the next episode will touch our little screens.
Since its debut in 2011, each new season of American Horror Story has premiered in the fall, between the months of October and September. Only in Season 9 did we see a deviation from this norm, and it was because of production delays brought on by Covid-19.
Due to this delay, we had to wait until 2021 to watch the tenth season of American Horror Story. However, now that the Lockdown has been lifted and precautions for the ongoing worldwide epidemic have been implemented into production practice, American Horror Story has resumed its regularly scheduled programming.
We anticipate the premiere of American Horror Story Season 11 will occur in the fall of 2022 or in 2023.
What will season 11 of American Horror Story be about?
Season 11 of American Horror Story will revert to the show’s more traditional style after following the unconventional two-half season pattern of season 10. All of the events will take place in one continuous story, with the help of flashbacks.
As John Landgraf said to The Wrap: “What I can say is that the 11th season will focus on a singular narrative. Although it spans many epochs, it is still a single tale with a beginning, middle, and finish, much like the others.”
The American Horror Story creative team, led by series creator Ryan Murphy, is famously secretive about the show’s next plots.
On the other hand, he decided to consult the fanbase on what they wanted to see from him in April of 2021.
Murphy polled his Twitter followers on a number of potential themes, including Aliens, Christmas Horror, Bloody Mary, Piggy Man, Sirens, and the Plague, however, the poll has since been removed. Aliens played a significant role in season ten, so we doubt they will be making a return visit any time soon. Now, what about these other possibilities?

Since Ryan’s initial tweet included the term “Expanding the Universe,” this may have nothing to do with the upcoming eleventh season. However, at the present time, this is all that can be relied upon.
The final two most popular choices were the Sirens and the Bloody Mary. However, Ryan never disclosed the winning option and, more importantly, whether or not the findings will have any bearing on the upcoming 11th season of American Horror Story.
The second season of the spin-off American Horror Stories premieres in July, however, it is now expected that Bloody Mary will not be a part of the main AHS.
As a result, Sirens could be up for grabs. Claims that production for American Horror Story will take place in New York this summer (though we have yet to verify this from any official source) lend credence to the hypothesis that the series is set on Fire Island.
As a popular vacation spot for people of all sexual orientations and gender identities, Fire Island fits right in with Ryan Murphy’s canon. It also has a well-established tradition around pirates, with the sirens who, legend has it, lured them to their deaths off the coast.
Unfortunately, other than speculation on Reddit, there is no evidence supporting this notion, and Murphy is not about to reveal anything.
But be assured that we will update you as soon as we have additional information.
American Horror Season 11 Cast
As of May 2022, no AHS cast members have been confirmed.
Evan Peters and Jessica Lange have left American Horror Story throughout the years. Sarah Paulson, a significant cast member, is the strongest today.
In an interview with Andy Cohen (via E! Online), she said season ten may be her last.
“I haven’t been unsure in three years. Probably my final season of Horror Story. she said. “Every time he proposes a whack-a-doodle-stoodle character, I say ‘Yes! Let’s do it!'” I’m unsure.”
(How could you not know if you wanted to play goofball? That’s obvious!)
Watch for Angelica Ross, Leslie Grossman, Cody Fern, and Billie Lourd as the old guard moves on.

Taissa Farmiga, alias Violet, told Digital Spy about a possible season 11 return:
American Horror Story is part of who I am, so it’s hard to respond. When I was 17 and just starting out, I played Violet. So every time Horror Story is mentioned, I’m like, “Ah, home.”
“Timing. I know there were conversations before, but I was filming Covid, traveling, and procedures.
If the moment and opportunity are appropriate, I’ll never say no. Sure, a cameo is wonderful because we get to go in and say, “Hey, it’s me.”
“But I’m still closest friends with several hairs and makeup artists and crew. It’s discussed. But I miss it. It’s an odd blend of sentiments, right?”
So not a ‘no’
Finn Wittrock is busy playing Green Lantern in a new HBO Max program, so he may not join them in season 11.
Is there a trailer for American Horror Story season 11 yet?
We apologize to everyone for the lack of fresh video at this time. Until we overthrow the current Supreme and take over as leader of the coven, our foresight isn’t powerful enough to disclose what the new film will look like.
Having said that, we wouldn’t be shocked if the premiere of American Horror Story season 11 occurs no later than the end of the summer of 2022.
In either case, we’ll keep you informed. but Enjoy the season 10 trailer.
