When it came out in 1998, ‘Wild Things‘ was a campy and twisted erotic thriller about two high school students who accuse their guidance counselor of an s** crime. But there’s more to this story than meets the eye: corrupt cops, betrayal, Bill Murray as a hilarious lawyer, and a lot of money. Kevin Bacon, Sergeant Ray Duquette
Sam Lombardo, a guidance counsellor, is being investigated for sexual assault by Sergeant Ray Duquette, who was played by Kevin Bacon. Duquette has his own sinister part to play in this complicated story.

Matt Dillon, Sam Lombardo
Sam Lombardo, the guidance counsellor who was accused of beating up two of his students, was played by Matt Dillon. ‘There’s Something About Mary’ and ‘In and Out’ were the last movies he was in.
Now: Dillon went on to star in movies like “One Night at McCool’s,” “Crash,” “You, Me, and Dupree,” “Old Dogs,” and “Armored.” He has been a guest star on “The Simpsons” and “Modern Family.” He was also in the movies “Girl Most Likely” and “Pawn Shop Chronicles” not too long ago. The next movie he will be in is “The Art of the Steal.”
Denise Richards, Kelly Lanier Van Ryan
Denise Richards, a former model and star of “Starship Troopers,” played Kelly Lanier Van Ryan, a rich teen who accuses her guidance counsellor of assault to get money from her own family.
Now: Richards went on to be in movies like “The World Is Not Enough,” which starred James Bond, “Drop Dead Gorgeous,” “Valentine,” “Scary Movie 3,” and “Love Actually.” She was married to actor Charlie Sheen and then got divorced, which was all over the news. However, she and Sheen are now friends, and Richards even had a guest role on Sheen’s sitcom, “Anger Management.” She has also been a guest star on “30 Rock” and “90210,” and she is the star of the show “Twisted” right now. The last movies she was in were “Madea’s Witness Protection” and “Blue Lagoon: The Awakening” for Lifetime.
Neve Campbell, Suzie Marie Toller
Neve Campbell played Suzie Marie Toller, a girl from a poor family who admits that she and Kelly made up the accusations about Sam to get back at him, but there’s more to the story than she’s letting on. Campbell was a well-known actor in the 1990s. He was in “Party of Five” and the “Scream” movies.
Now: “Party of Five” ended in 2000. Since then, Campbell has been in the movies “When Will I Be Loved” and “Reefer Madness” and has been a guest star on “The Simpsons” and “Grey’s Anatomy.” She played Sidney Prescott again in “Scream 4” in 2011, and she was recently in the TV movie “An Amish Murder” and the miniseries “Titanic: Blood and Steel.”
Bill Murray, Kenneth Bowden
Kenneth Bowden, played by Bill Murray, is a shady lawyer who tries to help Sam Lombardo. Murray was well-known for his roles in movies like “Scrooged,” “Groundhog Day,” and “What About Bob?”
Now: Murray became pickier about the roles he took in the early 2000s. He was in “Lost in Translation” by Sofia Coppola and “Broken Flowers” by Jim Jarmusch. He has also been in many of Wes Anderson’s movies, like “Rushmore,” “The Royal Tenenbaums,” “Fantastic Mr. Fox,” “Moonrise Kingdom,” and “The Grand Budapest Hotel,” which is coming out soon. He was also in George Clooney’s movie “The Monuments Men” not too long ago, and he will be in “St. Vincent de Van Nuys” and “Rock the Kasbah” in the near future.
Theresa Russell, Sandra Van Ryan
Theresa Russell, who was in “Black Widow” and “Kafka,” played Kelly’s mother, Sandra Van Ryan. Sandra is embarrassed that Sam is accused of assaulting Kelly because he had an affair with her.
Now: Russell went on to be in movies like “The Believer,” “The Box,” and “Spider-Man 3.” He also worked with Denise Richards again in the independent movie “Jolene.” She has been in a few TV movies, like the recent “Liz and Dick” movie on Lifetime, and has also been a guest star on “Fringe” and “Cold Case.”
Daphne Rubin-Vega, Detective Gloria Perez
Detective Perez, who was played by Daphne Rubin-Vega, is sceptical of Kelly’s story and likes Suzie. Rubin-Vega is a singer and actress who was known for playing Mimi in the first production of “Rent” on Broadway.
Now: Rubin-Vega also played Lucy in an Off-Broadway production of “Jack Goes Boating,” and she played the same character in the 2010 film of the same name, which was directed by Philip Seymour Hoffman. She has been the main character on the TV shows “Hustling” and “Smash” and has been in the movies “Union Square” and “Emoticon.” She has also been in productions of “The Rocky Horror Show,” “Les Miserables,” and “A Streetcar Named Desire.”
