When it comes to her relationship with her ex-boyfriend Zay Wilson, in the Netflix series The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On actress Rae Williams is ridiculing her followers for believing just what they saw on the show. Rae first brought Zay on the show because she was ready to be engaged and he wasn’t, but he refused to accept the ultimatum.
A fellow cast member who had also been handed an ultimatum by his fiancée was Jake Cunningham. She instantly established friends with both of them. When she returned to Zay after spending time with Jake, she realized she wasn’t ready for marriage.
Then again, Zay came to the conclusion that he wanted to marry Rae. From the beginning of The Ultimatum, the pair essentially reversed their roles.
The argument resulted in a confrontation between the two, which resulted in Zay leaving and returning home around 8 a.m. Rae’s behavior was the final straw, and she ended her relationship with him right away.
She stated to TikTok viewers that she rescinded her ultimatum after realizing she was placing too much pressure on herself to marry and establish a family immediately after graduating from college because that is what society expects of individuals.
Rae and Zay briefly addressed how they’d attempted to date again but couldn’t agree on the true story of what occurred after shooting at The Ultimatum reunion, hosted by Nick and Vanessa Lachey. Fans who had loathed Rae from the beginning of the season, along with Madlyn Ballatori and Colby Kissinger, sided with Zay and felt terrible for the cast member.
On Friday, April 15, Raw Williams answered a Q&A from admirers who wanted to know more about her sexuality in a series of Instagram stories. Williams revealed that both Wilson and Cunningham were aware of her sexual orientation. “Zay was aware since I had previously dated a female.” I also informed Jake before we made our decision. “It was really essential to me that both Zay and Jake be neither homophobic nor intolerant,” she wrote.
Is Rae’s Relationship with Another Person?
Despite Rae’s efforts to reassure the hypothetical fan that she and Zay continued to work on improving their relationship after shooting wrapped, the fan just says, “We didn’t witness that.” A celebrity posted the video with his or her own words on “social media,” adding, “I guarantee we both tried and there was love there. Following my discussion with Jake, I didn’t just let him go.”
To celebrate the end of The Ultimatum, Jake gave Rae two round-trip plane tickets to any destination of her choice. The two, however, admitted on the reunion episode that they did not go on vacation because they had a lot of healing to do from the relationships they had recently gotten out of. Rae, on the other hand, disclosed that she had been seeing another lady.
She went on to reveal additional information about the unknown female she dated after leaving the Show. Williams commented on her Instagram story, “What seems to be a photo of the two with their faces disguised,” then uploaded what appears to be a shot of the two with their faces hidden.
“The girl I got with after the show is very private and we have taken a step back the past few months with everything going on and the show coming out but we are still very close and hope to revisit things after the summer.” She ended the note with a statement confirming her current relationship status: “I’m single and in therapy.”
One fan wrote in with a question.
“What gave you the strength to come out? I’m scared to come out as Bi, but your example was everything!”
“Knowing that people are suicidal or depressed over their identity or sexuality and not being accepted or accepting themselves made me want to come out,” She Replied.
Rae attributes her and Jake’s failure to work out in the end to their meet-cute. “Weird and stressful.” She stated, “After filming we were like What the heck just happened? Going through the ultimatum was not easy!”
