Vinland Saga Action
Thorfinn’s father told him stories about old sailors who had voyaged the seas and arrived at the land of myth, Vinland. It’s been said to be warm and fertile, a location where there would be no need for conflict–not at all like the chilly Icelandic village where he was born, and far from his current profession as a soldier. Now he lives in war. While his father once informed him, You have no foes, no one has. Nothing was further from the truth, as Thorfinn aged. Nobody is permitted to be wounded, he learned.
The conflict between England and Denmark grows increasingly fierce with time. The Vikings have become hardened to death, and they are loving every minute of it. Allying with one side or the other will result in a significant shift in the balance of power, and the Vikings are eager to make names for themselves and take whatever they can get their hands on. Among the chaos, Thorfinn must take his revenge and kill Askeladd, the man who murdered his father. It appears that the only paradise for the Vikings is the age of war and death that continues to rage.
