Modern technology gives us many things.

The Upcoming Horror Movie “Skill House” Stars Hannah Stocking and 50 Cent

Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, a rapper, actor, and producer, has agreed to be in the upcoming horror movie Skill House, which makes fun of how much we depend on social media. Hannah Stocking is also in the cast, along with 50 Cent.

Skill House is said to be a horror movie in the style of Saw, but it also makes a point about the bad things about social media fame and internet culture. In particular, the movie will look at how far people will go to get “clout” on the internet, even if it means doing horrible and painful things to get it.

Josh Stolberg wrote and directed Skill House. He has written two Saw movies, Jigsaw (2017) and Spiral: From the Book of Saw (2021), so he knows how the series works. Both movies were made a long time after the original series, and they show how the famous movie bad guy got his start.

Like the Saw movies, the scary parts of Skill House might be hard to deal with. Collider has already reported that a camera operator passed out on set during the filming of a particularly violent scene. Josh Stolberg, who directed the movie, said something about what happened on Twitter, which you can read about here in our story about what happened.

In a statement to The Wrap about the upcoming film, Stolberg said, “Just as this film is the first of a new type of horror, social media stars like Bryce and Hannah are a new type of celebrity.” He went on, “We are pushing the limits of creativity and careers here. Hannah has a lot of talent and is a great example of what this project is all about: internet fame and how the entertainment business is changing. We’re very happy that she’s joining our cast.”

50 Cent, on the other hand, has been in movies before. In the 2005 movie Get Rich or Die Tryin’, he played himself. He has also had roles in other movies, like Righteous Kill and Spy, both of which came out in 2015.

Hannah Stocking is also joining the cast. She is a Tiktok star, which makes the movie seem even more real. Stocking has been in a few movies and TV shows before, including the scary Boo 2! A Madea Halloween, so this isn’t her first time in front of the camera. American YouTuber and TikTok star Bryce Hall have also joined the project. A mixed martial artist named Paige Vanzant has also been cast in the movie.

Steve Johnson will be in charge of the make-up effects. He has worked on movies like “Big Trouble in Little China” and “Ghostbusters.” Skill House is made by Proxima Studios, which is run by Ryan Kavanaugh. No date for the release has been set yet.
