Project Blue Book Season 3 is coming to Netflix!

The show follows Dr. J. Allen Hynek, a brilliant college professor recruited by the U.S. Air Force to spearhead this clandestine operation that researched thousands of cases, many of which were never solved… until now. Each episode will focus on a different case from Project Blue Book’s files as Dr. Hynek and his team uncover shocking new evidence using modern scientific analysis and technology not available in the 1950s. 

Most of you who believe in conspiracy and UFOs have undoubtedly seen the History Channel’s Project Blue Book. You’re undoubtedly wondering whether the series will be renewed for a second season.

HISTORY’s Project Blue Book has been picked up for a third season, which is undoubtedly good news. Since this series has become the 1 new program ( This Is Us Season 6 ) on cable among total viewers this TV season, averaging 3.4 million viewers in Live+3, according to the official announcement, there isn’t much of a surprise. The season premiere, which aired last night, has received 2.266 million viewers and a 0.43 key demo rating among adults (P18-49) + 1.61 million DVR views.

It’s worth noting that Project Blue Book Season 2 has received mostly positive reviews from critics and audiences. The second season of The End , which aired on Starz in June 2017, has a 4.8/5 rating on Rotten Tomatoes and an 97 percent approval rating from viewers (as of today).

The critical consensus was mixed, while viewers gave Project Blue Book Season 2, tbd/100 and 7.8/10 among critics/viewers, respectively. Based on approximately 7,000 reviews, the overall IMDb rating for Project Blue Book is 7.7 out of 10. The game has received 10,000 endorsements.

The release of Project Blue Book in 1967 was the result of a fantastic concept based on the real top-secret investigations of UFOs that had begun in 1952. Project Blue Book is based on true events, unlike other TV programs (such as X-Files) that are inspired by real life. Robert Zemeckis also executive produced Project Blue Book.

The third season of Project Blue Book will be released in 2020.

As the History Channel was switching to solely producing non-fiction programs, the show was abruptly canceled. In May 2020, a campaign was launched to move Project Blue Book Season 3 to another network.

Season 3 of HISTORY’s Project Blue Book has yet to be announced by the network or any other broadcaster. However, if we look at the current series’ schedule , it appears that the next episode may premiere in 2022. Since the series has been renewed early, we don’t discount a launch date sooner. If the government is hiding any alien technology, Project Blue Book may return for Season 3 this fall or winter.

As a result, we are anxiously awaiting the official announcement. All the data that comes from A+E Studios and HISTORY are being tracked down. We will update this page as soon as the studio or network confirms a new release date for Project Blue Book Season 3.
