Pamela Denise Anderson is a Canadian-American author, model, actress, and television personality. Playboy is an American men’s lifestyle and entertainment magazine that was founded in Chicago. Pamela has made numerous appearances in the magazine. Pamela is known as an actress for Home Improvement (an American sitcom airing from 1991-1999 with a total of 208 episodes) and Baywatch (An American action drama with a total of 242 episodes airing from 1992 to 1997).
However, her journey as a celebrity has filled with many controversies and backlash. The actress had once responded to the drama and said, “Eventually, you just have to realize that you’re living for an audience of one. I’m not here for anyone else’s approval. Time passes, [expletive] happens, you do the best you can.”

1. Sex Tape
Pamela married Tommy Lee on a beach in Mexico after dating for just four days. The couple had two sons and got divorced in 1998. But before the split, the couple’s sex tape got stolen by a friend. The couple tried to retrieve the tape back, but it was eventually released online and was almost an hour long.
On a chat show, Watch What Happens Live, she said, “I’ve never seen it. I made not one dollar. It was stolen property. We made a deal to stop all the shenanigans”
She further added, “I was seven months pregnant with Dylan and thinking it was affecting the pregnancy with the stress and said, ‘I’m not going to court anymore. I’m not being deposed anymore by these horny, weird lawyer men. I don’t want to talk about my vagina anymore or my public sex — anything.”
In 2010, while working with PETA the actress posed in a bikini. But various accusations said it was sexist leading Montreal officials to ban the ad.
About the whole situation, she said, “In a city that is known for its exotic dancing and for being progressive and edgy, how sad that a woman would be banned from using her own body in a political protest over the suffering of cows and chickens”
She continued, “In some parts of the world, women are forced to cover their whole bodies with burqas — is that next? I didn’t think that Canada would be so puritanical.”
3. Hepatitis C
After getting split with ex-husband Tommy Lee, in 2002 she revealed that she contracted Hepatitis C from her ex-husband after the two shared a tattoo needle.
About the whole situation, she told PEOPLE that, “I think anyone struggling with a disease that they say you can live with is still – it still plays into a lot of your decisions in your life”
“Twenty years ago they told me I would die in 10 years. And 10 years into that, they told me I would be able to live with it and probably die of something else, but it all was very scary stuff.”
4. Banned by PETA
Pamela is known for being an animal rights activist. She has had few controversial campaigns. One of which includes a video of her raising awareness in a stripping clip. In 2012, another ad by Pamela was banned for being inappropriate in Montreal, Canada. The campaign featured lines and labels across her bare body.
5. Posing for Playboy
Pamela has posed for Playboy, an American men’s lifestyle magazine several times. In 2015, one of her covers was a nude picture of her. Her two sons had to deal with a little teasing and bullying for the picture. But they said that she is old enough to make her own decisions.
6. Pamela is against pornography
Even though the actress has posed as a nude model for Playboy magazine, she considers pornography to be a public hazard that caters to losers.
7. Pamela said Feminism is boring
The actress took part in the #metoo movement but faced backlash. In an interview in 2018, she said, “I think this feminism can go too far. I’m a feminist, but I think that this third-wave feminism is a bore. I think it paralyzes men. I think that this Me Too movement is a bit too much for me.”
8. Donald Trump
Pamela met Donald Trump once. When she talked about Donald Trump, she said, “I think it had something to do with beauty contests. There were a lot of beautiful girls there. That in itself shows you [something]: what was he involved in that for? He says he loves women more than anybody — yeah, but for the wrong reasons.”
