Halsey has their fourth studio album will be coming out on August 27th named ‘If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power’.
The “Without Me” singer shared this news via her social media platform. She wrote: “This cover image celebrates pregnant and postpartum bodies as something beautiful, to be admired. We have a long way to go with eradicating the social stigma around bodies & breastfeeding.
“I hope this can be a step in the right direction!”
In her announcement, Halsey revealed that the record explores themes of motherhood, pregnancy, and childbirth.
Now for the premiere of her new album, the singer wore a Dolce & Gabbana black dress accompanied by a huge cross necklace. She posted series of pictures posing for the cameras and captioned the picture as, “ heart of darkness”.
The 26-year-old mum wrote: “This album is a concept album about the joys and horrors of pregnancy and childbirth
“It was very important to me that the cover art conveyed the sentiment of my journey over the past few months.”
The singer went on to reveal that she touches on body image too: “The idea that me as a sexual being and my body as a vessel and gift to my child are two concepts that can co-exist peacefully and powerfully.”
