A Steam version of the critically acclaimed PlayStation title Ghost of Tsushima has been advertised for sale on the website of a third-party shop, according to Game Informer.

Ghost of Tsushima, a game developed by Sucker Punch, will be released on the PlayStation 4 in July 2020. Jin Sakai, a samurai, is sent on a journey to safeguard Tsushima Island during the first Mongol invasion of Japan, which is depicted in the game. Ghost of Tsushima: Legends is a co-op multiplayer option that was added to the game later on. The game also received an expansion pack that included Iki Island.

More and more PlayStation titles are being made available on the PC platform in recent years, and if the game’s listing is to be believed, Ghost of Tsushima is the latest PlayStation Studios title to make its way onto the PC system.

Ghost of Tsushima PC Release Date Steam: 2022

According to a third-party retailer, Ghost Of Tsushima may be coming to Steam in February as many other PlayStation exclusives have done in the past.

Ghost Of Tsushima may be coming to Steam in February, according to a linked retail listing. With Horizon: Zero Dawn and Death Stranding set for release in 2020, Sony has begun transferring some of its most popular PlayStation-only games in recent years. There have been a number of notable releases since then, including Square Enix’s hugely popular Final Fantasy VII Remake that was released earlier this month on Epic Games Store, as well as Steam versions of 2018’s God of War remake and the upcoming Uncharted: Legacy Of Thieves Collection.

These games may not be the only ones Sony is considering porting to the PC, as a database breach from Nvidia GeForce Now revealed the release dates of a slew of high-profile PlayStation titles on services like Steam in the coming years. The Nvidia leak properly predicted several of the previously mentioned PC releases, such as Final Fantasy VII Remake and God of War, despite the fact that many of these ports are simple adaptations. At this point, it appears as though one more prominent PC exclusive from Nvidia’s list may be joining them in 2019.

According to Reddit user Repulsive Lettuce, a retail listing for Ghost Of Tsushima has been discovered, and the PC release date is February 7, 2022. Repulsive Lettuce points out that this image could be a fake, which they also question, but it comes from a grey-market key code distributor who is said to be “reputable.” This information on Ghost of Tsushima came from “the people that sell the keys to them,” which Repulsive Lettuce assumes means the game’s developers or publishers, as their source only revealed when asked.

Ghost of Tsushima Review

The open-world stealth-action series Assassin’s Creed has been itching to take on feudal Japan ever since it began bouncing from ancient Jerusalem to Renaissance Italy to Colonial America and beyond. With Ghost of Tsushima, that itch has been sufficiently satiated. That splendor is reinforced by one of the best blade-to-blade fighting systems the open-world action genre has seen in Sucker Punch’s latest trip across one of history’s most astonishingly beautiful environments. Ghost of Tsushima has its share of hiccups when it comes to stealth, opponent AI, and other small annoyances, but for every moment where it fails, it soars in another.

The story of the Mongol invasion of Japan in 1274, which began on the island of Tsushima, is the inspiration for the novel Ghost of Tsushima, a work of fiction with fictional characters. The Man in the High Castle’s Daisuke Tsuji plays Jin Sakai, the samurai who begins the game as a samurai but rapidly learns that the samurai code’s honorable but limiting methods may not be adequate to deal with the new and existential threat.

Even though Ghost of Tsushima takes a bit to get underway, Jin’s internal battle is an intriguing one as his formative teachings clash with his desire to preserve his hometown at whatever cost. Khotun Khan, played by Glee’s Patrick Gallagher, has charisma in abundance, despite Jin’s lack of charisma. With his mellow intensity that is somehow comforting despite his terrifying aims, he’s one of the most iconic video game villains in recent memory. Jin’s 40 to 50-hour vengeance quest works effectively since he’s the “Big Bad,” and he’s always one step ahead of him.

Sony Porting Ghost of Tsushima to PC

It was not long ago that Sony published a statement stating that porting games to the PC is quite profitable for them. Furthermore, due to the scarcity of consoles these days, restricting a game to a single system is not always profitable any longer, either. This is especially true when you realize that Game Pass is accessible virtually everywhere at extremely inexpensive prices. Sony is merely competing in their market and attempting to reach as many people as possible with their games, according to the company.

Ghost of Tsushima pc popularity

Put another way, Ghost of Tsushima is the more mature version of Breath of the Wild, if that makes sense. It comes as no surprise that Ghost of Tsushima has been a huge hit, especially when you consider how successful Breath of the Wild was. Considering all of this, as well as the fact that Ghost of Tsushima is the first true open-world Samurai game with AAA-quality content, it’s no surprise that the game has become so popular.

Ghost of Tsushima has now sold more than 8 million copies worldwide. Sony’s open-world samurai exclusive has proven to be extremely successful, and as we previously reported, it is on track to sell 5 million copies by November 2020, according to Sony.
