Director Babak Anvari who is famous for his work on ‘Under The Shadow’ where he directs and co-writes the series, which was also his debut in the industry is back with another thriller series, ‘I Came By.‘ It was revealed that Line of duty star kelly Macdonald, George Mackay and Hugh Bonneville are set to lead the show. Actors such as Percelle Ascott and Varada Sethu are also starring in the show.
It is also interesting to note that ‘I Came By’ is among the first titles on the new UK film slate, which is commissioned by Director of UK Features Fiona Lamptey. The series is set to be filmed at various London locations.
Namsil Khan is set to co-write the series with Lucan Toh as the producer and Kit Fraser as the cinematographer who is famous for his work on Under The Shadow. The series is set to be released in 2022 and will be streamed on Netflix.
Kelly Macdonald recently finished shooting the Uk adaptation of Frecng his comedy series ‘Call My Agent’ and is set to star in ‘Operation Mincemeat’ opposite Colin Firth. George Mackay who is famous for his oscar-winning film ‘1917’ will be seen in Nathalie Biancheri’s drama ‘Wolf‘, which also stars Lily-Rose Depp.
Hugh Bonneville who is famous for his work on ‘Paddington‘ recently wrapped up the production of ‘Downtown Abbey 2’ and will be working as a voice actor in ‘The Amazing Maurice.‘ Varada Sethu who is also a part of the upcoming series is known for her character in the crime drama ‘Hard Sun’ and Percelle Ascott recently starred in the final season of ‘Tin Star.’
Director Babak Anvari is well-known for his psychological horror ‘Wounds’ which starred Dakota Johnson. He was also the director for ‘Monsterland‘ on Hulu.
