A piece of happy news for “The Godfather” fans as Paramount is making upcoming limited series ‘The Offer’, about the making of ‘The Godfather.’  

Along with Anthony Ippolito who has been roped to play Al Pacino, Miles Teller and Matthew Goode are also reportedly a part of the upcoming series.

The series is written and executive produced by Nikki Toscano, who also showruns, and creator and Oscar- and Emmy-nominated writer Michael Tolkin (Escape at Dannemora, The Player) – according to Deadline

The Offer will be based on two-time Oscar-winning producer Al Ruddy’s (Teller) experience of making the iconic 1972 film The Godfather that is still an all-time favourite of all. Francis Coppola directed and adapted with Mario Puzo from Puzo’s bestselling novel the 1972 film.

Teller and Ruddy  will serve as executive producers on the series, along with Leslie Grief. Dexter Fletcher will direct the fi rst and last block. ‘The Offer’ is produced by Paramount TV Studios and it a 10 episode event. The series will also have stars like Burn Gorman as Charles Bluhdorn, Justin Chambers as Marlon Brando, and many more.

The movie starred Marlon Brando, Pacino, James Caan, John Cazale, Robert Duvall, Diane Keaton and Talia Shire and more. It was also nominated for 11 Oscars and won three of the nominated catorgery. Al Ruddy won for Best Picture.
