Although fans are aware that Obi-Wan and Leia survive much beyond Obi-Wan Kenobi Episode 4, putting them in danger has made many eagerly anticipate the film’s release. When will the next chapter be available on Disney+?
Despite starting on a Friday, fresh episodes of Obi-Wan Kenobi will premiere on the streaming service every Wednesday. The fourth installment will be released on June 8, and the remaining two will be accessible for streaming on the dates listed below:
Episode 5 – June 15
Episode 6 – June 22
It’s hard to believe we’ve already reached the halfway point of this series, even if events are converging faster than in The Book of Boba Fett.
Regarding when viewers may expect episode 4, Disney+ typically releases new episodes at 12 a.m. PST or 3 a.m. EST. Those who are determined to avoid spoilers will want to view it immediately. So, what should people anticipate going in?
Darth Vader And Obi-Wan Meet Again In ‘Obi-Wan Kenobi’ Episode 3
Obi-Wan Kenobi Darth Vader begins his pursuit of his former Jedi Master in Episode 3. This alone makes for a dramatic chapter, as it is evident that the Sith are still upset over their rift. Reva is as eager to locate Obi-Wan (Moses Ingram). And when they join forces, no amount of running or lying will allow the Jedi and Leia (Vivian Lynsey Blair) to escape quickly enough.
Obi-Wan and Leia continue to attempt to evade their adversaries, this time by traveling to the planet Maputo. Regrettably, the Empire continues to have a strong presence there. A new ally named Tala (Indira Varma), a former pawn of the Empire assists them in locating a hiding place. However, the arrival of Darth Vader prompts Obi-Wan to act. He instructs them to defend themselves while he distracts his old apprentice.
When Darth Vader discovers Obi-Wan, they exchange a tense reunion in which Vader easily defeats his former master. Only because of Tala is the Jedi able to survive the confrontation. Still, he’s unconscious and badly burned, a clear indication that he’s out of practice after spending years on Tatooine. Not only does he conclude episode 3 in grave peril, but so does everyone else.
After Tala abandons Leia, Reva discovers her hiding place. Obi-Wan is unconscious and unable to protect her, therefore it is uncertain what will happen next. The release date for Obi-Wan Kenobi Episode 4 is approaching quickly.
What To Expect When Episode 4 Hits Disney+
Obi-Wan is burned and defeated, therefore it is uncertain what will occur when Episode 4 of Obi-Wan Kenobi is released. He will clearly survive his injuries, but that is the extent of our information. Given his current condition, it is an enormous unknown how he will retrieve Leia.
For its Star Wars series, Disney+ does not reveal episode names or previews in advance. Considering this, the fourth chapter might go in any direction.
Reva’s ability to return Leia to Darth Vader seems dubious but not impossible. The series has already thrown us a few curveballs, confirming that Leia met Obi-Wan prior to A New Hope, which was considered unthinkable. A Vader and Leia interaction would be more difficult to explain. Someone is more likely to rescue her from Reva.
Tala is always an option, as is Obi-recovery. Wan’s Next week, there could also be another Star Wars cameo. We will have to observe how things develop. The next chapter is due in less than a week.
Episode 4 of Obi-Wan Kenobi premieres on Disney+ on June 8, 2022.
