Classroom Of The Elite Season 2 Confirmed Release Date Status, Cast Updates & More Details

Classroom of the Elite started out as a series of light novels that came out between 2015 and 2019. Now, it’s a manga series that’s still going on, and its creator, Shogo Kinugasa, is also writing a sequel series of light novels. The story is told from Kiyotaka Ayanokoji’s point of view. He is a quiet, unassuming boy who, after meeting Suzune Horikita and Kiky Kushida, gets involved in a lot of things. The series was turned into an anime in 2017, and here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming second season.

The second season of Classroom of the Elite will start on February 21, 2022. This was the first news about the show since it started airing in 2012. The new season will start in July 2022. It was also confirmed that a third season is being made and will air sometime in 2023.

The second season of Classroom of the Elite will come out on July 4, 2022, during the Summer 2022 anime season.

At Sakura-Con on April 16, 2022, Crunchyroll announced that it would be streaming Season 2 of Classroom of the Elite.

On February 21, 2022, the second season of the anime TV show Youkoso Jitsuryoku Shijou Shugi no Kyoushitsu e will start making a second season. A new key visual released on May 30, 2022, gave the exact date for when YouZitsu Season 2 would come out.

A lot of new information came out during the live show. We already knew that the second season of Classroom of the Elite would start in July 2022, and that was confirmed. We also got some other great news. Also, the third season of Classroom of the Elite will be made, with a planned release date of 2023.

 

Where to watch Classroom of the Elite season 2?

The first season of the show could be watched on Crunchyroll (with subtitles) and Funimation (without subtitles) (in dubbed format). Since these two services usually stream anime, it is certain that they will also offer the second season. We don’t know for sure if the dub will come out at the same time, but we think it will.

The narrative is told through the eyes of Kiyotaka Ayanokji, a quiet and modest young man who isn’t adept at making friends and prefers to keep his distance, but who possesses unequaled knowledge. He is in Class-D, which is where the school’s worst kids are sent. After meeting Suzune Horikita and Kiky Kushida, two other students in his class, the situation begins to alter, and he becomes involved in a variety of activities, scattering his vision of typical high school existence.

Shouya Chiba, who does the voice of Kiyotaka Ayanokouji, and Yurika Kubo, who does the voice of Kikyou Kushida, were both at the Kadokawa event, so it is certain that they will be back in their roles in the anime sequel.

Even though the way the source material was changed for the first season caused some controversy, the announcement makes it clear that the anime production is a TV sequel and not a reboot or remake of Classroom of the Elite.

More importantly, during the presentation, the cast confirmed that the anime will cover the whole First Year story arc from the light novel book series.

More About Classroom of the Elite season 2 

Studio Lerche, which did the animation for the first season, will do it again for the second season. Studio Lerche is best known in recent years for making the Toilet-Bound Hanako-Kun anime, the Radiant anime (see our article about the Radiant Season 3 anime), the Astra Lost in Space anime, and the Asobi Asobase anime. They also made the animes Rumble Garanndoll, Idoly Pride, and Fate/Grand Carnival in recent years.

Seiji Kishi and Iroyuki Hashimoto, who were the directors for Season 1, are coming back as chief directors. Also, Yoshihito Nishouji will take over as the new director.

Hayato Kazano, who wrote the episode scripts for the first season of “Killing Bites,” is coming back to write the series scripts. Also coming back are character designer Kazuaki Morita and composer Ryou Takahashi. Kana Hashiguchi will play with the composer.

For the first season, ZAQ sang “Caste Room” as the opening theme, and Minami sang “Beautiful Soldier” as the ending theme.

The opening theme song (OP) for Season 2 of Classroom of the Elite will be sung by ZAQ, and the ending theme song (ED) will be sung by Mai Fuchigami. The name of the OP theme song has not been made public yet.

On July 27, 2022, the COTE Season 2 ED single will come out.
