Blade Runner Black Lotus is an animated Blade Runner television series set in the Blade Runner universe. The first season aired on November 14, 2021. Blade Runner Black Lotus was first announced by Adult Swim on May 17, 2021, via Twitter.[1]

The show features all-new characters and reveals a crucial new piece of information about Deckard’s whereabouts. Blade Runner Blade Runner: Black Lotus takes place during Blade runner days and features many familiar things from the film such as Replicants, Atari 2600s, and giant eyes however it also contains things that weren’t present in the film such as Virtual reality and flying cars

More About Black Clover Blade Runner: Black Lotus

The new anime series from Crunchyroll and Adult Swim, Blade Runner: Black Lotus, has released a new video that reveals a little more about the characters and the tale. The trailer was presented on Thursday at the New York Comic Con 2021, where the series premiere date of November 13 (2021) was also announced.

We’ve seen the best preview of the show so far in the trailer. You may see classic Blade Runner elements like neon signs and video billboards, as well as the jittery, steam-bellowing flying automobiles of the late 21st century, on familiar Los Angeles streets. Brian Cox, who plays Niander Wallace, Sr., a villainous-sounding figure, also spoke to us. Niander Wallace Jr., played by Jared Leto in Blade Runner 2049, is the son of Wallace Sr. Wes Bentley lends his voice to Junior in the anime series.

The trailer mostly focuses on replicant Elle, played by Matrix: Resurrections actress Jessica Henwick, and her bizarre personality and abilities. Elle was designed for a specific purpose. ‘Elle’ While we don’t yet know who she’s referring to, we see her battle, dream, and take a Voight-Kampff test in the teaser.

Shinji Aramaki (Appleseed) and Kenji Kamiyama (Blade Runner: Black Lotus) will helm all 13 episodes (Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex). The series will be produced by Alcon Entertainment and animated by Sola Digital Arts (Ultraman 2019). The Director and creator of the famed Cowboy Bebop and Samurai Champloo franchises, Shinichiro Watanabe, will serve as a creative producer on the show.

Blade Runner: Black Lotus launches at midnight on Nov. 13 2021 on both Crunchyroll and Adult Swim.
