Bachelor Nation, rejoice! After all the rumors and speculation that it was going to be cancelled, Bachelor in Paradise has been officially picked up for another season of pure debauchery on a Mexico beach. As a card-carrying member of this godforsaken franchise, I have to admit that I am happy to see the show stay on the air.
It just seems like the best way to get back all the emotional and mental energy I put into watching The Bachelor and The Bachelorette for Two. Hours! Every! Damn! Week! I’ll take it, ABC. Also, going to the Boom Boom Room in the middle of the night to see who’s there >>>> watching long, boring episodes of hometown dates. Am I? What’s going on?
So, here’s everything we know so far about season 8 of Bachelor in Paradise.

The New Cast Of Bachelor in Paradise Season 8
Even though the cast hasn’t been announced yet, Bachelor Nation fans have taken to social media to talk about who they want to see on Michelle Young’s season of The Bachelorette and Clayton Echard’s season of The Bachelor on the Beach. Former Bachelor in Paradise star Joe Amabile, also known as “Grocery Store Joe,” found love with Serena Pitt during season 7 of BiP. During Clayton’s Women Tell All special, he shared a tweet from March 2022 that showed he could read fans’ minds. “The Bachelor in Paradise auditions are being shown live on #thewomentellall.”
Since then, people have wondered if they will see villains Shanae Ankney and Genevieve Parisi again after their time in the hot seat. People hope that Katie Thurston’s contestant Aaron Clancy will also be showing off his beach body if these two go to Mexico. This is because Shanae said that he and Genevieve had a relationship in the past, which they both deny.
Rodney Mathews is the name that keeps coming up when people talk about Michelle’s contestants. Some people wanted him to be “The Bachelor,” while others just want him to find love. One fan said on Twitter, “If Rodney is not on Bachelor in Paradise, I will literally riot.”
Finding A ‘Bachelor In Paradise’ Host
Since Chris Harrison left, a lot of different people have been in charge of the show. For season 7 of BiP, they brought in a number of famous people as guest hosts. Some fans have gotten behind Wells Adams, a former Bachelorette contestant who now works at the BiP bar. They say he should just host the whole show. Wells said she was “a little bit” upset when Jesse Palmer was chosen to host Clayton’s season of The Bachelor.
“But I was never the Bachelor, so I understood the decision,” he told Us Weekly in December 2021. “I’m also very familiar with Jesse because I’ve worked with him before. So I totally get why he’s the host, since he was the Bachelor. I’m glad for him, you know.”
