As a card-carrying member of this godforsaken franchise, I have to admit that I am happy to see the show stay on the air.
It just seems like the best way to get back all the emotional and mental energy I put into watching The Bachelor and The Bachelorette for Two. Hours! Every! Damn! Week! I’ll take it, ABC. Even though the cast hasn’t been announced yet, Bachelor Nation fans have taken to social media to talk about who they want to see on Michelle Young’s season of The Bachelorette and Clayton Echard’s season of The Bachelor on the Beach. Former Bachelor in Paradise star Joe Amabile, also known as “Grocery Store Joe,” found love with Serena Pitt during season 7 of BiP. Since then, people have wondered if they will see villains Shanae Ankney and Genevieve Parisi again after their time in the hot seat. People hope that Katie Thurston’s contestant Aaron Clancy will also be showing off his beach body if these two go to Mexico. This is because Shanae said that he and Genevieve had a relationship in the past, which they both deny.
