You Season 4 Release Date Status: Officially Confirmed & All That You Must Know!

Before the release of You season three on Netflix in October 2021, the stalker series was already renewed for a fourth season.

Therefore, be prepared for Joe Goldberg to run into additional difficulties. The best feature of it? He is traveling abroad this time.

According to executive producer Sera Gamble, “[showrunner], Greg [Berlanti] and I were instantly intrigued with Joe Goldberg and his weird world view” after reading Caroline Kepnes’ novel.

“Watching Penn [Badgley] bring Joe to be frightening yet captivating life has been wonderful. We are really appreciative of Netflix’s tremendous support of You and the fact that viewers all around the globe have loved seeing Joe consistently go things horribly wrong over the course of the past three seasons. In season four, the You team is eager to delve into new, sinister dimensions of love.”

What is ahead for our accountant who is also a serial killer? Here is all the information you require.

You season 4 Release Date on Netflix

The first day of filming for season four was March 22, 2022, in London.

The Netflix team showed the date written on a clapperboard from the set. Since Joe was the one who did it, it was only natural that there was blood all over the board.

We also know they could be filming in Paris because that’s where we last saw him at the end of season three.

By tradition, the next chapter will come out at the end of the year 2022.

If season 4 follows a similar schedule, we may anticipate a launch date sometime around February 2023. Season 3 debuted in October 2021, with filming winding up in April.

You season 4 plot

The third season finale of You was, to put it mildly, emotional. Joe killed his wife, Love (Victoria Pedretti), left their infant with another family, faked his own death, cooked his own toe into a pie to blame Love for his own death, and then burned down their suburban California home.

When we last saw Joe, he was using the alias “Nick,” and he had just landed in Paris to see Marianne, who is from France. Season 4 of You is set in London and Paris, although only for a short time. While we don’t know much about the season’s narrative as of yet, we do know that Joe has more than enough demons from his past to keep him on the edge of his seat.

It appears that at least a portion of this season will take place on a college campus, as scenes were filmed at Royal Holloway, University of London. Students at Royal Holloway have filmed Joe (or Nick) in academic garb, leading them to speculate that he may have found work in the UK.

You season 4 cast

Both Penn Badgley and Tati Gabrielle will be back for season 3; Badgley will reprise his role as Joe Goldberg, while Gabrielle will reprise her role as Marianne, the object of his passion; it is unclear in what capacity Marienne will appear.

New characters make up the bulk of the primary cast. First, we have Lukas Gage as Adam in Euphoria. Adam is an ex-pat American from a privileged family who is unable to live up to his parents’ and siblings’ expectations.

Charlotte Ritchie, who stars in Feel Good, plays Kate, the art gallery director who is both passionately devoted and skeptical of anyone who isn’t one of her pals. Tilly Keeper, Kate’s best friend, and Lady Phoebe is a rich celebrity who is often taken advantage of because of her naivete and lack of discernment.

Nadia, portrayed by Amy-Leigh Hickman, is an opinionated literature student and aspiring writer whose previous errors threaten to wreck her life. Ed Speleers’ alter ego, Rhys is a controversial writer with a turbulent past whose best-selling biography catapulted him into the spotlight.

Other regular cast members include Niccy Lin, Aidan Cheng, Stephen Hagan, Ben Wiggins, Eve Austin, Ozioma WhenU, Dario Coates, Sean Pertwee, Brad Alexander, Alison Pargeter, and Adam James.

Is there a You Season 4 trailer?

A complete trailer for Season 4 of You has not yet been released, but a short teaser has been released. The video, released before You Season 3 debuted on Netflix, parodies Joe’s “for you” declarations to ex-girlfriend Beck and former flame Love (and enemies like Peach).

Badgley stated to the media Joe remarks that he may have a momentary sense of freedom tonight on the other side of the Atlantic, “The problem is in him, it’s not so much outside of him so he’s trying to change. He is always trying—failing to try.”
