Vibes Earplugs: Could the Company Succeed in Making a Deal at the Shark Tank? Here’s Everything You Want to Know!

Even though live music is excellent, it can quickly damage your hearing. In Season 8, when Jackson Mann went on Shark Tank, he had a product that could lower the decibels of live music without changing the quality. Jackson left without a deal, which was a shame. However this article will let you everything you need to know about where the company is now.

About Vibes Earplugs

Vibes are reusable earplugs made to improve the quality of sound. Traditional foam earplugs only reduce the volume of high-frequency (treble) sounds, not low-frequency (bass) sounds. This means that the sound you hear will be distorted when you wear them. Vibes, on the other hand, lower the volume of all sounds, from bass to treble, in the same way. This lets you hear clearly, but at a lower volume. Vibes differ from traditional foam earplugs, which block and muffle the sound. Vibes protect your hearing by using sound tubes that balance sound waves and acoustic filters that lower decibel levels. This lets you stay comfortable and protect your hearing in noisy places that would otherwise be uncomfortable and hurt your hearing.

How did Jackson come up with the idea for Vibes earplugs?

Jackson once had a burst eardrum because of how loud a concert was. Then, his doctor told him to wear disposable earplugs to the next concert he went to. As a fan of live music, he noticed that regular earplugs hurt the quality of the music and make it hard to hear. He then realized that around 440 million people are at risk of permanent damage to their ears because of loud live music concerts. He made vibes earplugs because of this thing. Vibes has teamed up with the Hear the World Foundation, which helps poor children learn and hear better.

Was Jackson successful in making a deal at the Shark Tank?

Several sources say that Jackson Mann went on Shark Tank in Season 8, Episode 14, and asked for $100,000 for 20% of his high-fidelity earplugs, called Vibes Earplugs. Jackson Mann brought a brass band with him to Shark Tank to show how good the Vibes Earplugs were. The sharks couldn’t believe how different it was and how the earplugs didn’t make any difference to the sound. They all agreed that the earplugs were not only practical, but also comfortable. Still, the sharks had some problems with the company as a whole.

Kevin O’Leary said that these things already existed and that competitors were selling them for less. Jackson had only made about $30,000 in sales in the five months he had been in business. Mark Cuban was the first one to leave because he didn’t think the market was big enough. Visitor Shark Chris Sacca thought people attending a concert would have to buy these at the venue. If not, they would forget about them. He didn’t know how to solve the problem, so he went out as well. On the other hand, Barbara Corcoran said that Jackson wasn’t an excellent salesman. Lori Greiner thought it would be hard to sell the product, so she did what the other sharks did.

Kevin was the only other shark who could still make a deal. He said that it had nothing to do with his business. Still, he offered $100,000 for 3% ownership and a $2/pair royalty until he got back what he had put in. He told Jackson in no uncertain terms that he would not talk. Jackson was not interested in a royalty deal, which was too bad. He said no to Kevin’s offer, so he went home without a shark.
