Travis Barker boards a flight with Kourtney Kardashian for the first time in 13 years since his fatal plane crash

The 45 year old American musician has finally embarked on a sky high journey, marking his flight adventure for the first time in 13 long years!

For some who might be unaware of the musician’s plight, Travis Barker had been severely injured following a deadly plane crash that killed 4 passengers, and luckily the dead didn’t involve Barker, who was left with a third degree burn, suffering from 65 percent of bruises all over his body, which required him to undergo intensive surgeries and skin grafts, making them reach 26, while he was  hospitalized for three whole months.

Since this fatal plane crash incident, which occurred in 2008, the blink-182 drummer had been death scared to fly ever again, but on Saturday, August 14, Barker was captured boarding Kylie Jenner’s private jet along with his ladylove Kourtney Kardashian on their way from Los Angeles to Cabo San Lucas, in Mexico.

It seems like the Kardashian has helped him recover from his flight phobia, adding to the musician’s own wish to begin air travelling since some time now.

The couple were joined by the Kardashian’s mom Kris Jenner and her boyfriend of six years, Corey Gamble.

Talking about Barker’s future plans for flying again, ‘Men’s Health’ rolled out an article in May 2021, that says, “He won’t know when it’s coming, but he has an agreement in place with someone very close to him: They’ll tell him to be ready to go in 24 hours, and Barker will know exactly what for. He’ll pack an overnight bag and get in a car that will take him to an airport, where he’ll board a plane for the first time since 2008, when doing so changed the course of his life.”

Barker further shared his thoughts on the same, saying, “If I do it, and the angels above help me in my travels and keep me safe, I would like to come back and [tell my children], ‘Hey, I just flew here, and then I flew home. And everything was fine’. I have to tell them, because I almost left them.”
