Super Mario Bros. Movie Delayed Until 2023: Everything You Need To Know About Movie

The movie is directed by Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic, who worked on Teen Titans Go! and Teen Titans Go! To the Movies. It stars Chris Pratt as Mario, Anya Taylor-Joy as Princess Peach, Charlie Day as Luigi, Jack Black as Bowser, Keegan-Michael Key as Toad, Seth Rogen as Donkey Kong, Fred Armisen as Cranky Kong, Kevin Michael Richardson as Kamek, and Kevin Michael Richardson as Yoshi.

The movie is produced by CEO Chris Meledandri, founder of Illumination, and Shigeru Miyamoto, the head of Nintendo. Universal Pictures and Nintendo are going to help pay for the movie, and it will be released by Universal Pictures all over the world.

The Super Mario Bros. adaptation was initially scheduled to hit theaters on December 21, with a holiday run planned. But In North America, the film will now be released on April 7, 2023. On April 28, the film will be released in Japan.

Shigeru Miyamoto, the creator of Mario and game designer, made the news via Nintendo of America’s Twitter account. Miyamoto stated that he and his co-producer, Illumination CEO Chris Meledandri, decided to postpone their Mario feature. “After consulting with Chris-san, my partner at Illumination on the Super Mario Bros. film, we decided to move the global release to Spring 2023 – April 28 in Japan and April 7 in North America.”

 

He will be voiced by Chris Pratt, who played Super Mario in the movie “Guardians.” As Peach, Charlie Day is Luigi. Jack Black is Bowser. Kevin Michael Richardson is Donkey Kong. Fred Armisen is Cranky Kong. Sebastian Maniscalo is Luigi. Anya Taylor-Joy is Peach. Charlie Day is Luigi. Anya Taylor-Joy is Luigi. Charlie Day is Luigi (Spike). There will also be cameos by Charles Martinet, who is the voice of Mario and other characters in the video games.
