Princess Sofia and Prince Carl Philip celebrate the christening of son Prince Julian

Princess Sofia and Prince Carl Philip marked the very precious moment of their lives on Saturday, August 14, as their little son, Prince Julian, born on March, graces his christening ceremony in the presence of his older royal siblings, Prince Alexander and Prince Gabriel.

 

 

This close family was soon joined by Prince Carl Philip’s other family members including, his parents King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia, his sisters Crown Princess Victoria and Princess Madeleine along with their husbands.

In conversation with the Swedish Public Broadcaster ‘SVT’, the royal couple announced the names of some of their closest friends whom they chose to be their little son’s godparents and sponsors.

 

 

These names include, Johan Andersson, Stina Andersson, Patrick Sommerlath, Jacob Högfeldt and Frida Vesterberg.

Little Prince Julian was all dolled up in a beautiful white family gown, that has deep heritage and familial legacies attached to it, as his own father Prince Carl wore once wore it during his baptism.

 

 

Princess Sofia, 36, and Prince Carl Philip, 42, had also taken to Instagram to share a sweet family portrait, featuring the five closest members including themselves, and the trio of their sons, Prince Alexander, Prince Gabriel and toddler Julian.

The elder brothers take their seats right next to their mom, while the youngest male member of the family perched on his father’s lap.
