We have some good news and a little bit of great news. First, Season 2 of Power Book III: Raising Kanan is back! The first episode of the new season comes out Sunday night on Starz and Sunday morning on the Starz app. More on that later. What’s better? Starz has already picked up the third season of their popular show.
In the second season, Raq (Patina Miller) takes over the drug trade in the city while her son (MeKai Curtis) starts to run away. Starz says, “When Kanan Stark goes back to Queens, he doesn’t know what will happen with the family business, and Detective Howard’s secret makes him even less sure about his past.” Kanan searches for the truth while Raq bravely expands the business into Mafia territory.

Power Book II: Ghost Season 3 Release Date
As of May 2022, there is no confirmed date for when season three of Ghost will come out. We do know that it’s coming, though, because the show will be back for a third season in December 2021.

It is thought that filming began in February 2022, but the production’s current status has not been confirmed.
Considering this, it seems likely that the show will follow the same schedule as season two and come out in November. We’ll let you know as soon as we know more for sure!

What will happen in Power Book II: Ghost Season 3?
After the explosive end of season two, Monet will find out that her husband Lorenzo Tejada (Berto Colon) killed her son Zeke because he thought he was someone else.
After killing Professor Jabari Reynolds (Justin McManus) and getting away with it, Tariq, who at first wanted to leave the drug business, has decided to stay and become the new “connect” now that Mecca is gone.
On the other hand, Brayden, who saved Tariq from a life in prison by admitting to being the student selling drugs on campus and revealing himself as the CEO of their drug-selling app Course Correct, betrayed him by setting up Tariq’s college girlfriend Lauren, whose body was found after a car accident.

In the finale, NYPD detective Blanca Rodriguez (Monique Gabriela Curnen) came back and it was revealed that she was the officer who was in charge of confidential informant Mecca. Blanca’s return with a blurry picture of Tariq is sure to cause Tariq a lot of trouble as she looks into Mecca’s shooting.
Cooper Saxe will work with Prosecutor Jenny Sullivan (Paton Ashbrook) to tell the truth about Davis MacLean’s shady lawyering in season three, which will also pick up the pace. In the meantime, MacLean is working to get his brother Theo Rollins out of jail for a murder he didn’t do.
