Olivia Wilde Responds to Former Nanny’s Allegations by Sharing Her Special Salad Dressing Recipe

The director of Don’t Worry, Darling shared a page from Ephron’s 1983 Roman à clef Heartburn, which details the dissolution of her marriage to Carl Bernstein.

Olivia Wilde is giving away the secret to her delicious salad dressing, which she claims to have found in a well-known book on marriage and divorce.

The director of Don’t Worry Darling, who is 38 years old, posted a series of stories on Instagram on Tuesday night that seemed to hint at the chaos caused by Jason Sudeikis’ ex-nanny talking to the Daily Mail about their breakup.

A photo from Nora Ephron’s 1983 Roman à clef Heartburn was posted by Wilde. The novel was inspired by Ephron’s breakup with Washington Post reporter Carl Bernstein and includes a scene in which the protagonist shares her salad dressing recipe with her husband.

“Combine fine red wine vinegar and Grey Poupon mustard in a 2:1 ratio. Next, make a thick and creamy vinaigrette by gently adding 6 tablespoons of olive oil while whisking continually with a fork; this provides a very robust vinaigrette that is excellent on bitter salad greens like arugula, watercress, and endive (the ingredients listed in the recipe).

During the interview, the nanny for Sudeikis and Wilde’s two kids, Daisy, 6, and Otis, 8, said that Sudeikis was surprised and “brokenhearted” by Wilde’s new relationship with Harry Styles, which she found out about while making a salad dressing for the “Harry’s House” singer.

Nanny: “She walked outside and lay beneath her car because she wouldn’t leave.” Ted Lasso stars.

Wilde and Sudeikis have denied the nanny’s account of what happened after they broke up, calling it “false and scurrilous.”

A former nanny of the couple’s two young children has made “false and scurrilous claims” against them, the pair stated in a statement released on Monday. Her campaign of harassment against us and our families, friends, and coworkers, which has lasted for the past 18 months, has reached its tragic zenith.

On Questlove’s Potluck on the Food Network in 2020, Wilde made an appearance with a dressing recipe that was very similar to the one she shared on Tuesday.

The Booksmart producer served a roasted salmon salad with zucchini and potatoes on the show. With the same 2 tablespoons of vinegar, she reduced the amount of mustard to 1 tablespoon and increased the amount of olive oil, honey, salt, and garlic to 2-4 teaspoons.
