Lily Collins bids a goodbye to co-star Ashley Park in the sweetest Instagram post, as they wrap up ‘Emily In Paris’

Netflix’s “Emily In Paris” is a comedy-drama streaming television series created by Darren Star, which premiered on Netflix on October 2, 2020.

Lily Collins plays the role of an American marketing strategist, Emily Cooper, from a large firm who is offered the opportunity to spend a year in the French office of a smaller firm and provide “the American perspective,” where she meets nanny and Paris resident Mindy Chen, played by Tony Award nominee Ashley Park. Instantly Mindy gives Emily a crash course on how to get along with her coworkers, who are not a fan of their new American peer.

In November 2020, the series was renewed for a second season by Netflix and filming started in May 2021. Now, according to Lily Collins Instagram post, the filming for season 2 has officially finished.

The “Mirror Mirror” actress posts on Insta, two pictures of herself and Ashely where she is seen sitting in her co-star’s lap, showcasing just how close they are! She writes, “Last day on set and I can’t imagine wrapping on a more perfect note with my @emilyinparis partner in crime. I’m not crying, you’re crying!…”

Ashley Park commented under Lily’s post saying, “When you say “you’re crying” you’re def talking to me and it’s def true. Couldnt love you anymore. Any more*”

The co-stars are pretty close with each other as this isn’t the first time, Collins has directed sweet words towards Park. When in 2019, the shooting of season 1 wrapped up, Lily similarly posted on Instagram along with a series of on-set photos.

Collins wrote in a heartfelt post, “What a picture perfect way to say au revoir to my @emilyinparis sister. Leave it @ashleyparklady to wrap up filming with the sweetest (and most savory) send off. The show may have brought us together but now, we have each other for life. I’m going to miss you so much. Emily is Emily because of you…”

Well, looks like these on-screen friends are best friends in real life as well and it’s unquestionably cute.
