As Bell Media revealed in June 2021, a Letterkenny spin-off called Shoresy would star Jared Keeso as the title character. Keeso will write the script for the series, which will be directed by Jacob Tierney.

No resemblance can be found between the fictional village of Letterkenny shown in the program and the real-life Renfrew County community of the same name.

Tierney and Michael Dowse are also involved in the creation of the program. With Michelle Mylett and Dylan Playfair and Andrew Herr and Tyler Johnston and Lisa Codrington and Alexander De Jordy in the series as Pastor Glen, Tierney also has a recurring role.
