Suzanne Collins is the author of The Hunger Games, a series containing dystopian novels for young adults. The trilogy begins with Katniss Everdeen as a teenage protagonist. The fourth book is a prequel that was published 64 years earlier.
The trilogy’s novels are called The Hunger Games (2008) and Catching Fire 2009 respectively. Each of the novels was adapted for film. The Hunger Games film series was created with Mockingjay’s film adaptation split into two feature-length motion pictures. Mockingjay was the number one bestseller in America, and both of the first books in this series were New York Times bestsellers. The publisher reported that there were 26 million Hunger Games Trilogy books printed by the time The Hunger Games: The Film Adaptation was released in 2012.
The Hunger Games universe depicts a dystopia in Panem. It is a North American country that includes the Capitol, wealthy citizens, and 13 poor districts. Each year, the lottery selects 12 children from each district to take part in The Hunger Games, a mandatory televised battle royale deathmatch.
This was also done in the 13th district. However, they rebelled against the Capitol and forced them to surrender. The Capitol was a specialist in nuclear weapons and quickly surrendered to the Capitol, agreeing to a peaceful settlement. Both agreed that District 13 residents would move underground and that the Capitol would bomb the area above to make it appear as they had won.

Suzanne Collins, the author of the original Hunger Games trilogy, has created a new book called The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes. In this prequel to the Katniss Everdeen novel, Coriolanus Snow, who served as President of Panem during the trilogy, is shown as a teenager.
Lucy Gray Baird, a mysterious and rebellious girl from District 12, is the crux of the novel, which follows Snow’s relationship with him as he guides her in the 10th Hunger Games. When Katniss arrives to challenge Snow’s government 60 years later, the followers of the series will remember that she too came from District 12.
The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes’ release date is almost around the corner, but Lionsgate has yet to confirm any cast members for the film. Francis Lawrence, director of Hunger Games: Catching Fire and Mockingjay: Parts 1 and 2, will helm the film adaptation, according to the studio. Michael Arndt, the writer of Catching Fire, will pen the script for the film.
