Have you ever heard of spatulas being sold for a good cause? No, well then it is true! Stars such as Hilary Duff, Bobby Flay, Molly Yeh, Brain Hart Hoffman and more are collaborating with American retail company William Sonoma to help combat the country’s childhood hunger problem.
A portion of all the sales made from the original artwork printed on the spatulas will be donated to No Kid Hungry, an organization that is working to end the childhood hunger problem in the United States. William Sonoma’s annual celebrity-designed series includes the brand’s famous heat-resistance spatulas and other home necessities from the stars. At first glance, the spatulas look uniquely vibrant. The Class of 2021 Spatulas consists of designs by Tamron Hall, Hilary Duff and Bobby Flay.
Regarding her participation in this noble cause, Hilary expressed her views with PEOPLE “Kids deserve to be kids and live out their wildest imagination and dreams, without struggle or the worry of a hungry belly. When I look at my three kids, it breaks my heart to know there are millions of kids out there who live with hunger,” I hope my spatula inspires you to live out your passion and creativity in the kitchen and is a reminder that you’re helping kids across the country do the same. When kids have access to three meals a day, they can dream big and the possibilities are endless.”
Bobby Flay shared his outlook as well and said that he is thrilled to be a part of this cause and the inspiration behind his spatial design was his cat ‘Nacho Flay’ according to PEOPLE.
Original artwork from artists such as Gaby Dalkin, Kevin curry, Tabitha Brown is also featured to name a few. The organization has already raised $13 million which would be used to feed America’s children. The full collection will be available in stores and at Williams-Sonoma.com from July till October end.
