Terence Crawford Gameplay
Another look at the gameplay will likely give us a release date for eSports Boxing Club. A video released by ESBC Twitter today shows what Terrence Crawford looks like in the ring. As you can see, the game looks pretty good, albeit with only alpha footage. Still, this is the only look I’ve seen from the eSports Boxing Club in a while, so I’m happy with it.

Release Date
ESBC’s estimated release date window is now late 2022. The developer originally planned to release eSports Boxing Club for early access in summer 2021, but the delay has been pushed back even further.
In its latest development update, the developer has not announced a launch window, but has clearly stated that “the next announcement regarding this issue will be on a specific release date.” Unfortunately, we haven’t gotten any concrete information about the game’s release date yet.

Steel City recently released another dev update, revealing some new gameplay samples.

Cover Star
The eSports Boxing Club made a big announcement by announcing that reigning boxing champion and nearly undefeated Canelo Álvarez will be joining ESBC. Alvarez is a significant acquisition for the game’s roster, but more than that, he seems poised to be the title’s cover star. According to the eSports Boxing Club’s official website, the title features “next-gen footwork” that uses research and input from world champions to create “the most realistic mannerisms and movements.”
