Insights Into The Hosting Styles Of Banks And Ribeiro

For season 31 of “Dancing with the Stars,” Banks will be back as a co-host, this time alongside Ribeiro.

In 2020, the supermodel and “America’s Next Top Model” originator took the reins as the show’s sole host for the first time in its 29-year history. In July, it was announced that Ribeiro, who became famous on “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,” would be her co-host. Additionally, he won Mirror Ball season 19 with his professional partner, Witney Carson.

Ribeiro recently discussed the forthcoming season with “Good Morning America,” using the terms “wonderful,” “fantastic,” and “heartwarming” to characterize it.

Both Ribeiro and Banks have worked together on television before; Banks played Will Smith’s childhood friend and ex-girlfriend Jackie Ames on “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” in 1993. On the set of “Fresh Prince,” Ribeiro added, the two actors “had fun” and “were together all the time.”
