Mary-Anne Arsenault and Nova Scotia in the Tournament of Hearts semifinal

Nova Scotia’s Mary-Anne Arsenault reached the semi-final of the Tournament of Hearts with a 6-2 win over Tracy Fleury’s North Carolina team on Saturday in Penticton, BC.

Arsenault will play Sunday’s loser between Kerri Einarson and Jennifer Jones in the semi-finals of the Canadian Women’s Curling Championship.

The winner of the match between Einarson and Jones’ Manitoba will advance directly to the final on Sunday night.

The Nova Scotia foursome put the game out of reach with three points in the sixth end to get a 5-1 lead.

Arsenault, who is looking for a sixth title at the Tournoi des Coeurs, maintained a 10-2 record.
